Poland 39

How German Soldiers became Murderers

It is the prelude to the worst bloodshed of mankind: The German invasion of Poland on the first of September 1939. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary the film asks why in Poland “ordinary men”, without hesitation, burned down villages, bombed refugees, murdered civilians – and why a few did not join in.
