Halloween and Reformation Day – these two celebrations are automatically associated with October 31st. In 2017, we even celebrated the Reformation for the 500th time in Germany. It is an anniversary year and to mark the occasion, all federal states decided to make it a one-off national holiday. But plenty of other things happened on October 31st.
