For 15 years the Berlin State Library has been modernised and completely renovated. In early summer everything could be accessible again. On Friday, April 24th 2020, 11 pm, the Staatsbibliothek will open its doors exclusively for the ZDF cultural programme “aspekte”. A reading room will become an author’s stage for discussions and readings. Alongside Nobel Prize winner Herta Müller, Judith Schalansky and Karl Schlögel, Widad Nabi and Christian Baron will be guests – individually and at a suitable distance from presenter Jo Schück.
