Eating as a religion (WT)

For more and more people, nutrition has long been more than just eating—it has become an expression of identity, morality, and self-optimization. The documentary accompanies people whose lives are completely influenced by their nutritional philosophy and shows how eating rules can become fixed rituals, prohibitions, and beliefs. What begins as a harmless desire for health develops into a strict order for some, which is supposed to provide stability but ultimately begins to falter. The film delves into the world of modern dietary religions and shows how quickly lifestyle can become a belief system – and how difficult it is to break free from it.
