For Indian couples wanting to marry against their parents’ will, the men of the Love Commando in New Delhi are their last hope. They offer shelter to elopers and have to protect their headquarters against angry relatives. The cultural struggle that is raging in India is shaking the foundations of society and tearing families apart. It is a struggle between two different concepts of love – arranged marriages, on the one hand, and love matches, on the other. The film accompanies two couples who follow these two different routes.
