Not since a meteorite wiped out the dinosaurs 65 million years ago has there been such a rapid extinction of species on Earth as there is today. What does this mean for our future?
With the help of researchers from all over Germany, science journalist Kai Kupferschmidt wants to investigate the causes and consequences of the loss of species on our doorstep and explore how the great extinction can be stopped. To do this, we have to be prepared to change. If we continue as before, life will go on anyway. But in the long term, probably without us.
