How is Germany doing? And: what’s next for Germany? Four weeks before the Bundestag elections, we want to know: What issues are people in the country concerned about, what are their most pressing problems and how do the parties intend to tackle them? Dunja Hayali and Mitri Sirin have top politicians from all parties represented in the Bundestag as guests in the studio. Lars Klingbeil (SPD), Thorsten Frei (CDU), Alice Weidel (AfD), Christian Lindner (FDP), Annalena Baerbock (Greens), Sahra Wagenknecht (BSW), Jan van Aken (DIE LINKE) and Alexander Dobrindt (CSU) answer questions from people from all over Germany who are connected via video link. In short clips, they talk about their problems and worries in everyday life. On a large video wall, they talk to the politicians “from their living rooms” throughout the show and can respond directly to their statements using emojis. Dunja Hayali and Mitri Sirin follow up and take politicians to task.
