Russian-German relations have never been easy and in recent years they have cooled off even further – at least that’s what we’re led to believe. Sanctions and counter-sanctions, propaganda and clichés are all inherent in this relationship. But how do things stand in 2018 with our much-quoted “spiritual kinship” and respect for each other?
