Three top candidates meet around 50 first-time voters and discuss issues of the upcoming European elections: “How do you make people believe in the benefits of the EU again?”, “How do you want to develop the future of young people in the digital age?” and “Why do so many processes in the EU seem so intransparent? – these and other questions will be discussed by high school graduates and students aged between 18 and 22 who are allowed to vote in an European election for the first time, with politicians who are candidates for this election. Guests are Daniel Caspary (CDU/CSU), Katarina Barley (SPD), Nicola Beer (FDP), Özlem Demirel (Die Linke), Sven Giegold (Alliance 90/The Greens) and Jörg Meuthen (AfD). The two issues will be presented by two different presentation teams: Aminata Belli and Andreas Stamm as well as Linda Kierstan and Mirko Drotschmann.
