The North Sea – a wilderness right on our doorstep. Between the Wadden Sea and the high seas, fjords and cliffs is the home of more than 10,000 species of flora and fauna. This makes the North Sea one of the most biologically productive marine regions in the world – and also one of the most intensively used by man. Uli Kunz has been working here for over ten years as a marine biologist and research diver – and is constantly making new and surprising discoveries.
