Simply travelling and seeing something different, hearing another language, experiencing another culture. City trips are more popular than ever. But how great would it be to not only travel to historical cities of the present, but also to land there at the right time? For example, when democracy was invented in Athens, when Vienna shone with Sisi’s brilliance, or when New York rose to become the world’s No. 1 metropolis? Over the centuries, there was always the ultimate place to be somewhere.  We went on a road trip to the most irresistible cities in history.
