The journey of mankind began when Homo sapiens managed to leave Africa about 60,000 years ago and make his home everywhere on Earth. What drove him to explore the world is not known. Perhaps hunger, curiosity or the hope for a better life?
It took humans about 2000 generations to colonize all the habitable continents. Researchers estimate that they crossed mountains, seas, deserts and rivers at a rate of 50 kilometers per generation, always in search of better living conditions for himself and his descendants.
