Oh, Europe

Episode 6: Europe’s Sunstroke

In the 17th century, France becomes a leading force. The Sun King outshines the whole of Europe – and makes everyone envious. Castles are built everywhere. Even the Russian tsar is infected by the building bug and has St. Petersburg planned out, one of Europe’s most beautiful cities.{ The small country of Holland gains importance in Europe, but regrettably as a result of its notorious slave trade.
